AeroPress® brewer, AeroPress® filter, kettle, low mineral content water, kitchen scale, burr grinder, sturdy mug, fresh-roasted Gray Duck Coffee
Step 1: Boil a kettle of water.
Step 2: Weigh out 18 grams of whole bean Gray Duck Coffee.
Step 3: Put a filter in the cap of the AeroPress® and twist cap onto the chamber. Stand the chamber on a sturdy 10 oz.+ mug.
Step 4: Run a little bit of hot water through the filter and discard the collected water from the mug. Return chamber to mug.
Step 5: Once the water has boiled, turn off the heat and wait 10 seconds. Then, add water to the "2" mark indicated on the chamber. Stir for 10 seconds to agitate the grounds.
Step 6: Insert plunger and press down gently for 30-60 seconds. Remove brewer from mug.
Step 7: Add hot water to the mug to make a total of 8 oz. of Americano coffee. Enjoy!
